About Dolcezza

Dolcezza owner, Kari Roberts has been actively involved in Art since she was a small child. She studied Interior Design at The Boston Architectural Center (BAC) in Boston, Massachusetts and has a passion for creating beautiful spaces for people to experience. While her mind never rests, she is happiest while creating whimsical pieces of pottery and beautiful spaces for her clients. It is through this process she finds her peace, joy, serenity and balance. Kari works with clay, painting, paper mache, jewelry making to name a few of her interests.

In January of 2017 Kari got her hands back into clay after a 20 year hiatus. She began by selling her creations at the local farmer’s market in June 2017, and continued to do so through May 2019. In this time she also created her in home studio and began sharing her work regularly in Art Fairs and local Boutiques.

Dolcezza pottery is intentionally designed in black and white with whimsical patterns and designs. Each hand built, hand glazed piece is a functional, multi-purpose work of art. Inspiration for designs comes from many sources; cake design, paintings, nature, architecture, nature, fashion, street style, and interior design. Kari credits her significant other, Michael, with his continuous support and love that fuels her passions. She is continually applying new techniques to her work, figuring out more efficient production means and exploring new ideas. Kari is passionate about sharing her love for art with everyone, near and far.
